A guided tour

Inside the Forge

Eleven hectares of certified steel under one roof. Walk the line — from raw plate to finished beam — and meet the people, robots and precision that build it.

01
Raw Material & Precision Cutting

Where every beam begins its life.

Certified low-carbon plate enters the line through CNC plasma, oxy-fuel and high-definition laser stations. Each cut is measured in tenths of a millimetre, traced to mill certificates, and barcoded before it ever touches a fixture. Nothing leaves this hall without a passport.

02
Assembly & Fit-up

Choreographed by gantries, aligned by laser.

Tilting jigs and laser-aligned fixtures stage every web and flange before a single arc is struck. Overhead gantries glide between bays in a slow, deliberate ballet — square, plumb, and true to the model down to the millimetre.

Robotic Welding

Continuous welds, watched by machine vision.

Synchronised dual-head gantries lay certified welds twenty-four hours a day. Vision systems inspect penetration and porosity in real time; every pass is logged, measured, and signed by the robot that made it. Human welders supervise — and intervene only when the geometry demands a craftsman's hand.

Finishing, QA & Dispatch

Coated, certified, and bound for site.

Shot-blasting strips every member back to white metal before intumescent coatings, hot-dip galvanising or marine-grade epoxy go on. Ultrasonic NDT and dimensional scanning sign each piece off; barcoded packing lists travel with the freight. From plate to port, every step is documented — so what arrives on your site is exactly what was engineered.
